I have been sticking carefully to phase 2 b...</title><content type='html'>Hi Zoe&lt;br /&gt;I have been sticking carefully to phase 2 but after a good 3 weeks, the last few weeks there has been no weight loss at all. As I have over 8 stone to loose, thats really no good to me.  I saw my GP on friday and he has recommended I have a gastric band fitted. Now I don&amp;#39;t know what to do.  He says my life is at serious risk if I don&amp;#39;t do something soon.  I have always been very anti surgery, but maybe the time has come to admit defeat - I dont think there are any more diets left to try. Having just got to the end of Phase 1 ...</title><content type='html'>Hello Zoe,&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Having just got to the end of Phase 1 I thought I&amp;#39;d drop you a quick note.  I&amp;#39;m going to do Phase 1 again rather than move on, because I only had the extract from She magazine and not really enough information about the diet.  I did cheat and ate Willie&amp;#39;s cacao - maybe you know of it ? - when the cravings hit, and I did have milk (semi skimed) in tea.  I found a cup of decaf Earl grey with milk was a comfort when the cravings were strongest after lunch and through the afternoon.  I have certainly lost weight though it&amp;#39;s not what I would call dramatic, so it&amp;#39;s another five days for me !&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I don&amp;#39;t mind the restrictions but I did find the endless cooking, shopping and prep just too boring and now I have the book, I can find other meal options that will work better for me.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I do wonder though why you can&amp;#39;t have semi skimmed milk in Phase 1 as it&amp;#39;s barely a carb or a fat ?  Will it really make a dramatic difference to my weight loss if I cut that out too ?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Overall I never felt hungry, but was so bored with the taste of the food and really struggled with the cravings in days 1 and 2.  The worst thing of all is that I really can&amp;#39;t sleep well - still now, on the 5th day.  A lack of sleep is far more likely to send me to the biscuit tin than anything else and I wondered what advice you had for that ? Altho&amp;#39; u say no potatoes, does that include Sweet Potatoes? R Plantains allowed?&lt;br /&gt;My diet usually consists of fresh fruit, fresh veg, fish, chicken &amp;amp; nuts The video says that up 2 14lbs can b lost in the 5 days.
